Cancer Care Africa Foundation (CanCAF) is a pan-African non-profit organisation committed to transforming the landscape of cancer care across the African continent. We exist to strengthen cancer control systems, reduce disparities, and ensure that every person can access quality cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, survivorship, and compassionate care.
Born From Global Recognition and African Excellence
CanCAF was inspired and birthed through the global spotlight that followed Naomi Oyoe Ohene Oti's historic achievement as the winner of the 2025 Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award. Her recognition on the world stage elevated the urgent need for stronger cancer care systems in Africa and ignited a new movement, one driven by leadership, compassion, and a commitment to equitable healthcare.
